11/01/2010 · I have been running the Amsoil Sabre at 80:1 for a couple of years now in my Jiffy’s and that is a few thousand holes a year. Jiffy does recommend 3.2 ounces of the synthetic mix to a gallon of gas per factory specs (and those premeasured mixing jugs from Jiffy) although I have been mixing 80:1 Saber and have not had any trouble with ALOT less smoke and better twenty below starts.

sounds like you need a carb repair kit, my auger is a jiffy model 30 and was doing the same thing this year. We bought a cheap carb kit on eBay for 12 bucks, some spray carb cleaner and took it apart.

Jiffy does recommend 3.2 ounces of the synthetic mix to a gallon of gas per factory specs (and those premeasured mixing jugs from Jiffy) although I have been mixing 80:1 Saber and have not had any trouble with ALOT less smoke and better twenty below starts.

sounds like you need a carb repair kit, my auger is a jiffy model 30 and was doing the same thing this year. We bought a cheap carb kit on eBay for 12 bucks, some spray carb cleaner and took it apart.
